Size and Side Views

I have no idea what category to put these in. I did not make the glass balls I just glittered them. If someone knows where I should put them please let me know.

Made some Zelda themed glitter ornaments. The awesome glittery-ness of these ornaments really does not show well in the photos but they are super shiny and sparkly. I actually made tons of winter themed ornaments too but all of those got mailed off to friends and family before I got any pictures.

So first is the Wind Waker Goddess Pearls on standard round ornaments. Second is the same Wind Waker Goddess Pearls but in different shades of color and on flat round ornaments. I know, you really cannot tell that they are mostly flat from the photos but they are. I made the pearls twice because I wasn't sure which shades of color I would like better.

Third there are some hearts and half heart. The half heart was also an experiment on putting two different colors on the inside. It worked pretty good, the line isn't perfectly centered but it was my first try.

Last there are the Triforce ornaments. Both on flat rounds. I made the triforce larger on the right one...I may make a third and make it even larger. I really like the gold with both of those greens so I am not sure which ones I like better.

Thanks! Be sure to check out my tutorial on how I make them so you can make yourself a set if you want. Though, you might have to wait until closer to the holidays, ornaments are a bit hard to find this time of year =p

I would have kept making them all year long but it is impossible to find clear ornaments until right after Halloween. Well you can find them online but they are crazy expensive.

I understand. In my case, I'm gonna try it on some old ornaments that I have here. If it works, I'll buy more in december and make my christmas more happy!

Good Luck!! Have fun. Be careful though glitter get everywhere and even after all this time it is still finding it's way onto new things.

Haha, thanks for the fav! I am glad you like your shroomish hat too. That is probably my warmest standard hat, that double brim really keeps you warm.

They're all beautiful!

I'd say the element insignia are the best, but the heart container designs are ingenious!:clap::clap::clap:

These are gorgeous!
I might take a try at making some of these.
I've never made glitter ornaments before, so you just fill the insides up with glitter and done?
How did you make the designs so clean looking?
Did you use a stencil?

Just to be safe, I'm going to make these with plastic ornaments cause my toddler will rip these off and break them.

Thanks for sharing these, they are marvelous!
I love all three pearls the best.

Thanks for the fav! I glued the glitter on the insides. If you just toss it in you end up with a pile at the bottom and it falls out everywhere. You can look up tutorials online on how to glitter the insides of ornaments. I then hand painted the designed with glue glittered and sealed. I didn't use a stencil because even if I made one it wouldn't sit nicely on a round object. It just takes time and a steady hand, thought not too much time because the glue can dry on you and then the glitter won't stick. I ended up doing the Nayru (blue) in two stages, the crescents and then after they were dried and seal the circles. I couldn't paint the design fast enough to do it all at once. I don't know if it would work on plastic ornaments, I guess it depends on the glue you use.

Fandom ornaments. You're dong it right!

I wish more fandom ornaments were like this and less like tossing random action figures into a tree. xD

Thanks for the fav! I think I may have stuck action figures and toys in the tree when I was a kid but I cannot see myself doing that now XD I would much rather make things that can be appreciated even when you may now know what they are from. I know I have seen people selling small toys with a hook screwed in as ornaments on Etsy and that just really depresses me because anyone can make that as long as they buy the toy.
