More Colors

**Hats do not cover eyes. The model head is made smaller than the average human head. This causes the hat to cover the eyes and parts of the face that it will not on a person.**

More Hats

First in the start of my many, many new animal hats. I have so many more animals in the works right now. I will also have more colors of these coming tomorrow. My camera battery went dead before I could photograph them. Eight more colors to be exact so look forward to that.

Hm, not a whole lot to say. I don't want to spoil the surprise on the other colors I already made. Anything other colors you would like to see?

Off topic: OMG, what is up with the new submission system. It is sooooo freaking slow. I can't stand it. Typing in this is a pain in the butt! dA please fix it or let me switch back to the old one.

I don't know how you other hat makers figured it out, but doing ears like that are the bane of my existence!

I didn't know there were other people with ears like this but then again, I actively avoid looking at other's hats. I came up with this ear style after literally months of working on the pattern and countless failed attempts. I think it took me around 4 months to finally get it right. So don't give up! It may take awhile but you will get it eventually. I am still tweaking mine too, I find things I want to fix about it almost every time I make a new hat.

Actually I've only seen one other. I think it just looks so neat and way better than just sewing the in the seam. XD I always tweak my patterns, I hate it.. but that's the life right?!?

Honestly, as neat and clean as it looks I am positive many people do not notice. I think you are the only person to notice and go figure, you sew too =p

I set out to do it for easier cutting, sewing, and to remove ear crooked possibility. When I placed the ears myself 3/10 times an ear would slip or I pinned it wrong and they wouldn't be even. With it all one piece it really removes that problem (unless I cut it badly, which happens).

I wish I wasn't such a tweaker too but we always want to make thing better. Ah, the life of a crafter.

I love it, it makes that hats look waaay more professional. Hahaha, yeah, looking for inspiration kinda leads me to notice things like that, but it's a big change from the way others do it.
Yeah, crooked ears are the death of me. I hate it.... ALWAYS crooked no matter how long I work at them.
I think us crafters are crazy sometimes. :D
