More Hats

This hat wins the "Most failed attempts before succeeding" award. It took me awhile to get this right. But I finally did. This next bit is going to be in bold so hopefully people won't ask or miss it.

There is NO wire in the ears, they stand up on their own and do NOT easy fall down

The ears do fall down with sharp head movements, like a head banging movement. I found that during my daily activities they did not fall at all. Walking around, bending over, rushing somewhere, ect. The ears stayed up without problem.

Let me know what you think.

I spent several weeks designing the pattern. It took me quite a while and several tries before I got it right.

I know! I know! I have so many failed attempts hats on this one that I don't know what to do with. None of them are sell-able. Some of them might be giveaway-able. So much wasted fabric.

Hm, maybe. They aren't in very attractive colors, well unless you really like brown. Though, I do, but most people don't really want a brown hat. It works with my pink hair. When it is pink...hm, I need to decide what color to dye it.

That was the red I meant not a natural red color. My step mother is a natural red so the idea of dying my hair that color was never an option =p

Aw thanks! I actually lightly based the colors on the winter coat of the white tailed jackrabbit. They aren't solid white in the winter but I loved the black tipped ears they have.

Thanks! I doubt I will sell that many, basic animal hats don't sell that well. I mostly made it for myself and for a co-worker's daughter.

Is it just me or does it look like Stitch's ears only not being blue.

Hm, not really. But that is my favorite Disney movie and my apartment is covered in Stitch things so I might just be more familiar. Stitch's ears are more pointed, much larger and wider, and more at the sides of the head rather than on top. Not to mention he also has the notches. I guess his ears are designed similar to a rabbit which wouldn't be surprising since he is basically a blue koala.

Thanks for the fav! I was going for cute. I was tired of all the floppy eared bunny hats so I decided to make one with the up ears.
