So this was my first attempt at my newest project with Pokemon cards and resin. The pokemon cards were kindly provided by :iconstrangeanimal08:. Thanks again!!

This took 4 copies of this same Piplup pokemon card. The lower two images are from the sides so you can get a feel for the 3D effect. In those same photos you can see what looks like another card behind the background image of Piplup but this is actually just a reflection of the back of the card.

There are a few problems with this, the main one being bubbles, which I tired to show. It was rather chilly the day I did this and silly me forgot to heat up my resin before starting. Also it would seem that embedding something this way is prone to trapping bubbles in. My second attempt is looking A LOT better so far in that area.

Since this is not nearly as good as I would like it to be I am not sure what I will do with it. A giveaway maybe? Suggestions welcome.

I hope to make more of these into pendents, cell phone charms, and other items.

Please let me know what you think about this and the overall idea

Yeah, for a first attempt it is fine. The second one is looking a lot better. I always expect my first attempts to fail =p This one just failed less than normal.
