**Hats do not cover eyes. The model head is made smaller than the average human head. This causes the hat to cover the eyes and parts of the face that it will not on a person.**

This hat is of :iconkai-ni:'s OC Merc. We did simplify the design a little, removing the green around the edge of the ears because it would have compromised ear stability. I really enjoyed making this hat. It went through 3 revisions before I got it right. The original plan was the make the ears a more pointed version of my rabbit hat but I had to thicken them to make the shape right. This left them look more squat then I wanted so I extended them. That makes these my tallest ears ever at a full 10 inches tall (my rabbit ears are only 7). The fully stand up on their own. THERE IS NO WIRE IN THE EARS!!!

The hardest thing about this hat wasn't actually the ears (they were a challenge) but getting the red coloring to go from the red triangle pattern in the front to the back of the ears, and back side of the head. It wanted it to all line up correctly and look natural. I think I accomplished my goal.

I do not normally put OC custom hats up here but this one I really liked and I felt it really showed off some of the things I can do. Hope you like it!

Would the price for a custom be around the same for the wolf hats? Do you take customs?

I do take customs and price depends on complexity. This one was actually rather expensive. If you look at some of the more complex hats in my Etsy store you will see that the prices do go up. If you want a basic quote on a custom just send me a note and we can talk about it.
