Gloomy Bear Hat Scarfby ~cutekick

So this is a hat-scarf thing I put together for my sister for Christmas. I also made her flannel Hello Kitty PJs. I know, they do not go together at all. But she loves Hello Kitty and Gloomy. I actually just finished this last night. I didn't have time to make it before the holiday.

At the end of the scarf are what I will call hand pockets. They aren't really gloves or mittens because you won't be able to use your hands well with them. But you can put your fingers into the Gloomy claws if you want. It is actually tons of fun. I was playing with it a lot yesterday.

The scarf is suuuper long. My tape is 60 inches....its longer then that. And that is each side so we are talking over 120 inhces of scarf. I made it so long because I wanted her to be able to wrap herself up in it and then have full motion when having her hands in the hand pockets.

I made it so the blood would be on her forehead a litte but not in her vision. Similar to the Bidoof teeth on the Bidoof hat.

I also stuffed the ears, they are fun and squishable. As you can probably tell I am not a big fan of "flat" hats. I think it works find for cat ears but bear ears aren't flat so I stuffed the ears so you can squish on them.

Might go make a panda hat with squish ears. I will make a standard Gloomy hat without the scarf in the next week or so and put it in my shop. If you would like to pre order one now and not wait just contact me.

My sister got this for Christmas. I doubt I will make more because most do not want to pay for the sheer amount of fabric it takes to make the super long scarf portion.

Yes, I sell online. Do you just want the hat or the hat scarf? The hat is $35 while the hat-scarf is $70. I do not currently have any made so you could get it in different colors if you would like also.

Yes. I do not take checks or money orders because there are too many things that can go wrong and either leave me out of money or you out of a hat. I do take cash at the conventions I attend.
