Purple Rupees coming soon!

These are my hand painted Legend of Zelda Rupee necklaces! I made them in Green, Blue, and Red. Purple is coming soon, I have not had time to paint them.

Each Rupee is painted 3 times. Twice with color and once with a sealant. This sealant allows for the Rupees to be worn without fear of scratches or chips.

There isn't much else to say about them. Let me know what to think!

Don't forget the radium rupee. It's the most expensive, and radio active. Yay!

Yup, I already have the bracelets planned out. A few different versions actually. Since I charge $10 per rupee I am going to make them with a varying amount of rupees. Also, I have purple rupees on the way.

I could do keychains but I fear that it would be too much for the sealant and they would end up all scratched up and ruined. I will definitely try putting one in my pocket with my keys and see what happens.

Keychains are a no go. I put one on my keychain for a few weeks and it ended up pretty messed up. The sharper edges lost their paint and the whole thing lost it's shine. It was scratched up but it wasn't shiny anymore, even after I washed it. I think if I wanted to make keychains I would not be able to use glass and would have to look into resin or plastic ones.

I am allergic to most metals too, I can only wear sterling silver, can't even do surgical steel. Keychains is definitely something I want to do with these if they are strong enough.

And they are up now. Next to conquer on the rupee front is bracelets! But that won't be for at least several days.
